The person who created these has a real talent. The songs mashup together perferctly.
1. ThunderBusters
AC/DC - Thunderstruck
Ray Parker Jr - Ghostbusters
This one is funny and really good at the same time. I love it and it is probably my favorite. A mashup of two songs that I remember from my childhood.
2. Stayin' Alive In The Wall
Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall Pt II
The Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive
This one is freaky, but very good. It kinda enforces the message that Pink Floyd was trying to get across with the song "Another Brick In The Wall"
3. The Final Teen Spirit
Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Europe - The Final Countdown
I can imagine some Nirvana fans not being too happy with this one, but I think it works really well and love it.
4. Enter You
Bryan Adams - Run To You
Metallica - Enter Sandman
Love the title, love the mashup. Metallica fans are probably not going to be too pleased with this one either, but again, it works really well.
5. Maiden Goes To HollyWood
Iron Maiden - The Rime of the Ancient Mariner - Powerslave
Iron Maiden - Moonchild - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Iron Maiden - The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Live) - Live After Death
Iron Maiden - Only the Good Die Young - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Relax - Welcome to the Pleasuredome
Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Relax (12" New York Mix
Frankie Goes to Hollywood - The World is My Oyster - Welcome to the Pleasuredome
Frankie Goes to Hollywood - Welcome to the Pleasuredome - Welcome to the Pleasuredome
Ian McKellen - The Rime of the Ancient Mariner - Recited for BBC Radio
Gyorgy Ligeti - Requiem For Soprano, Mezzo Soprano, Two Mixed Choirs & Orchestra
This one is epic (I hate the word "epic" and think that it is overused by teenagers for stupid things that aren't epic at all, but in this case it fits)
If you like any of those mashups you can download them at http://www.waxaudio.com.au/ for free. Just find the mashup you want, and then right-click the "download MP3" link and choose "save as"
Just so you know, Wax Audio has this disclaimer in their website:
"LEGAL STUFF
These not-for-profit works (mashups, bootlegs, bastard-pop tracks etc) were created as non-substitutable, non-commercial derivatives of recognised recorded works. They do not compete with the market for the original material, nor do they undermine, defame or otherwise harm the original artists. Contrarily they promote each artist's commercial work by further validating their iconic status in popular culture.
And they're kinda funny..."
I think the person who created these deserves some kind of award. These mashups are some of the best that I have ever heard.
