5. We Don't Need Another Hero -By Tina Turner
Ok, the Saxophone isn't that prominent in this song, and you only really hear it at the end but for me it is the most memorable part of the song.
While I was writing this post someone argued with me that I should have listed Tina Turners song "Simply The Best" as the Sax solo in that is quite good, but not good enough in my opinion. I am a massive fan of the movie "Mad Max: Beyond The Thunderdome" a massive fan of this song and a massive fan of Tim Cappello who played the Sax in this song, so it goes on the list.
4. Still Believe -By Tim Cappello
I have already listed this song in "My Top 10 Break Up Songs That I have Been Listening To Recently" list but it also belongs on this list as Tim Capello is an amazing saxophone player and has a real unique sound.
3. Young Americans -By David Bowie
The word that comes to mind when I think of this song is "Brassy" and it happens to be the same word that comes to mind when I think of the Saxophone. I really love this song and it goes on the list.
2. Baker Street -By Gerry Rafferty
When people think of Saxophone solos, they generally think of Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty and the awesome solo at the end. It was even covered by Lisa Simpson in The Simpsons.
1. Lilly Was Here -By Candy Dulfer And Dave Stewart
I remember hearing this song as a little kid and it has always stuck in my head. I don't think I could ever get sick of it. Candy Dulfer on the Sax is amazing and Dave Stewart on the guitar is amazing too.
